Dessert wines are a great way to finish a meal, or to pair with chocolate or cheese.  Washington weather affords winemakers the opportunity to make ice wine, which is crafted from grapes that have been frozen while still on the vine.  This allows a more concentrated wine that is sweet like nectar.  Some Washington wineries also feature sweet wines and ports.  We visit wineries to find what often are limited production dessert wines that simply cannot be found in stores.
