Our Classic White Wine Selection is perfect for the picnic or backyard on a hot summer day. Washington produces over 40 grape varieties, with an almost even ratio of 49% white and 50% red. Reisling was one of the first varieties grown in Washington and features incredible floral aromas, with wonderfully flavorful fruit (apricot, peach, apple) on the palate. Chardonnay also must be happy growing in Washington and you'll be cheerful when you taste the crisp, delicate apple taste that is lost in so many unfortunately "oaky" California Chardonnays. Sauvignon Blanc, Gewurtztraminer, Semillon, Pinot Gris and Chenin Blanc are among the other refreshing Washington whites that we offer. Here, we feature 3 different whites that, as with all WWS wines, are hand-selected from artisan wineries.
